All participants are required to register online at home or on their phone before you arrive at the event.

  • ON THE DAY

    • Melanoma March Denmark is being organised by local, Heather, in honour of Mark, a much loved and respected member of the local community.

      We will be starting the walk from the Kwoorabup Community Park – Mark helped landscape a section of the park which is an Adventure Nature Playground.

      The Denmark hospital is also nestled amongst this Park. Mark passed away in our local hospital – so the location of our walk is quite sentimental to Heather and her family.

      Once we have finished, there will be a sausage sizzle for all who registered and we will then announce the winner of the door prize – a $100 voucher from local restaurant Pepper and Salt, and will also draw our winners of Marko’s March Raffle.

      Our event is dog-friendly so four legged friends are welcome to join us, provided they are on a leash.

      The walking route is pram accessible, however, there are areas of the path that are not easily accessible for a wheelchair.

  • THE WALKING ROUTE

    • We will be walking from the community park along the river on the Mokare Heritage Trail and ending back in the community park – doing a final lap of the Adventure Playground to complete the 5km course.

  • COVID SAFE

    • Melanoma March Denmark, WA will be in line with current COVID restrictions. This continues to be a highly dynamic situation and we will continue to adapt and adjust as appropriate. Further details about what to expect and measure that will be in place will be added closer to the event.

      Even though there may be some slight changes, Melanoma March Denmark, WA is still the same important cause and a chance for us to come together safely.
